Default Another Update

Well TT family here is the newest update....

I am a bit annoyed and frustrated but looking for positive now....

I was suppose to be induced on Monday the 18th due to the fact that my husband works out of town (he is a engineer) for the railroad and I never know when he will be here or where he is...So we had planned to have an induction so that I was not in labor by myself with 3 children by my side as I now live in Illinois with no family and just moving here I don't know anybody...

On Friday I saw my doctor and he has decided to NOT induce me. grrrrrrrr he said he feels it is best to just let me go into labor on my own...I was so mad at him as he really has no real reason or explanation as to why except that there is really no medical reason to induce...He knows my situation and his answer was to call social services and have the kids put in foster care for a day while I am in labor....NO WAY is that going to happen....So everyone please pray that I go into labor with my husband around.

He did send me for one final ultrasound claiming that if the baby was 10lbs he would then induce but the babys weight as of right now is 8lbs 1oz...That is a good weight....WHY OH WHY can't you induce instead of stressing me out like this. I was induced with all 3 of my other children........He also claims that the baby is only going to gain 8 more ounces...hmmmm I am gaining 5lbs a week that weight is going somewhere as its not going to my darn body as everyone keeps telling me I am still as tiny as ever...AND I NOW WEIGH 165LBS That scares the jeepers out of me!

So now we shall see what happens....I am terrified and scared now that I will be in labor by myself with these 3 babies by my side! Prayers are welcomed!

Thanks again for following me through this journey!

Aww Ree, Honey I don't mean to add to your stress but that doctor has me upset. I can't believe he even suggest some BS like putting your kids in foster care. I am so sorry you are going through such a rough time. There are a couple of staplers near you right? I wonder if we can get one to be there with you Ree. If I was there I would so watch your babies for you. Hopefully it will all fall into place. I am praying for you sweety. I will give you a call today to see how things are holding up. BIG HUGS. Don't stress out to much, it will all work out.

Thanks Denise!

It is just so frustrating for me as the doctor knew my situation all along and was ok with the planned induction and now that we are down to the wire he is changing plans on me. What is the real kicker about the situation is they keep telling me the kids can not be at the hospital..I told him on Friday well looks like if I go into labor on my own you will have 3 little ones running around the labor room he said NO you can't that is against policy, I said oh well..Nothing I can do about it. My mother who lives 5 hours away is trying to work something out with her job so she can maybe take sometime off and come stay with me now but nothing is for sure. So I am just trying to hold out until I hear if she can come stay with me. It is just scary for me now knowing that I may go into labor by myself with these kids here. I don't care about going alone but I of course am worried about my kids. Just frustrated...And I don't think there is any good reason why he can't induce me? Got a clue? Baby is a good weight, I am healthy....Celebrities have scheduled babies every darn day! I don't see the danger in it at all..Ok maybe I will be in labor a little longer (that is what he says) so I would rather be in labor longer and have my husband there and my kids ok!

Sorry for the rant....I am just so frustrated.....Speaking of my husband I better get going, he was here for 5 hours and now off and gone once again!

That's totally raw! I'm disgusted with that doctor. My guess is that he decided it wasn't convenient for HIM. What a shame! How old are the other kiddos? Does anyone here live anywhere near Renee and able to help?

I get so tired of having to educate the world (including medical types who ought to know at least a little) about this surgery.

Thanks everyone for your kind words...Still no baby....

My mother believes that the doctor has decided not to induce because "that is what I want"...You know how some doctors don't like to be told what to do...I think that may be what is going on. From the very beginning he was all for inducing me now that I am pushing for it, he says NO....And part of him keeps saying he wants to protect himself...But again I thank you all for your support and will keep you updated...

BTW- My kiddos are 9, 7, and 4!

Are you turned, dropped, engaged and effaced? Fetal weight is no problem, gestation is no problem, it's your 4th baby, your body certainly knows what to do once it gets going.....what's to worry??
Maybe this calls for the old spaghetti trick?
