Oh, Hyacinth, I am so sorry to hear that. I know how hard it is to be so close and have it just beyond your grasp. I assume they sent you home because of your cold; the tightening in your chest sounded more like a respiratory issue than pre op nerves, so if that is the case, it just is better to postpone. I am so sorry for this roller coaster ride. How exasperating but it will happen. Sabrenia went through this as have others and they got to the other side. You will, too.

Default Pre-assessment second time around.

Had my second pre-assessment today. I've not been given the go ahead for surgery on the 30th Nov. but I should be hearing something back from the hospital this evening. The decision will be based upon my test results, if there is any sign of infection at all, the surgery will be postponed again. So keep your fingers crossed for me. Thanks.

Thank you, me to. It's 6.15pm and no call from AJ. Either he can't bear to give me the bad news, or he's forgot.

Aj called about 20 minutes ago. Results look normal, no infection showing, white cells are normal. So I have to let him know if my cold develops any further, he will be calling me next week.

Now to get over the next hurdle.

WOW!!
