Default day5 preop, 9 days until surgery

Well, I am so hungry. Any suggestions. I am trying to follow it exactly like what they said, but I am starving. I thought I would be stronger than this, but I don't know. Would it kill me to have a teaspoon of peanut butter?

Probably not but it'll make things even harder for you afterwards.

I know it's difficult sweetheart but you are doing the best thing you can to make your surgery as smooth as possible.

Want a wake-up call then look no further than our Kelly (Mistymee). She ended up with her liver breaking (or something like that) during surgery.

Warm drinks help with those hunger pangs.

Yeah, what Corrine said.

Hang in there. The next nine days will go by fast. It will all be worth it, I promise.

Sometimes sucking ice cubes or a sugar free popsicle may help. Crunching ice has helped me too. But yes this is hard, I spent yesterday feeling sorry for myself, today I tried to stay busy and distracted. My husband and I went to the movies today and the only way I survived was a big crystal lite drink. The pop corn smell was overwhelming as that was one of my trigger foods. After about 5 minutes I forgot all about it.
