Smile My last supper

Tonight Im cooking for 10 close friends & some family , we are all getting together to CELEBRATE MY NEW FORTH COMING LIFE
Most of these friends I have known from school , college and since I was a teenager , Now we are all in our late 30's and still as close as ever .
Im truly blessed to have such amazing friends & family !
All whom support me with my decision for surgery , So heres to celebrate my new healthier & happier life and toast OUT the obese person that I have been carrying for far too long , and whom is a real burden to me .
I have lost 5 pounds this week
But tonight Im going to eat a nice meal and have a glass of wine , I think I deserve that .

Enjoy it. I know i did... Trust me you will be able to eat again after, just not in mass quantity.

I tend to enjoy and savor food much more now than i ever did. Maybe its because i was shoving my face with it before.

I cooked a HOOGE pot of chili con carne , rice , jacket pots , salads , garlic bread , dips , potato wedges and lots of nibbles .
Followed with some nice wine and fabulous company .
Was so lovely to be surrounded with my old buddies and they all back me up 100% .
I went out walking to burn those calories off today , but I was very proud of myself I didnt OVER INDULGE as I would normally do .

P.S sorry to mention all those nice foods above , hope I havent made u hungry.

Glad it went well, but a "last" meal is best done right before surgery. You don't want to get in the habit of having a "last" meal every night before surgery! You can gain quite a bit in 3 weeks.

This was a CELEBRATION dinner hun , and could not have done it just BEFORE surgery as Im on a 2 week liquid pre op diet , hence I did this 3 weeks before
No more big meals now , thats why it was called MY LAST SUPPER !
And my rule is I NEVER eat after 7pm . I only drink water in the evenings .
5 pounds off since Monday
Hope your keeping well hun , take care

Oh, okay! I didn't have a 2 week liquid diet. So my last supper was Saturday, and my surgery was Monday.

Hi Sassy, I'm glad your "last meal" went well. Now comes the fun part. The wonderful 2 week diet. I am on mine now. It's really not as bad as you may think. The hard part is cooking for your family. I have my surgery 1 week from today.

Hi Nan ...
Thanks for your message hun , Although I had my last supper on Sat nite I have been eating very sensible since my last surgeons appointment , and have been on slim fast .
I had my pre op today and I have lost 7 kilos(thats 15 pound) before I have started my pre op so the surgeon was very pleased and so was I .
So I planned it this way so my pre op diet wouldnt be such a shock to my system .
Good luck on yours huni
best wishes
Sas x
