Default question on losing weight prior to surgery
What are the factors that lead to a doctor wanting you to lose weight prior to surgery...is it to see the liver? Is this mainly if you have a significant amount of weight to lose? Just wondering..

its to shrink the liver some. I had to lose 5% of my weight which was 16lbs i lost 13lbs already.. I go to my last doctor today the gastrenologist today. I went to the cardiaologist yesterday everything went great So lets see what this guy will say today
