Default I'm back

I have been a terrible communicator. My husband passed away two months ago and I haven't been online since. I have been hiding away somewhat. I still manage to occassionaly go to work, look after my two girls and fit in softball, pony club and such. Today I am working from home. I am delighted to be doing so.
My eating habits have been brutal. I keep losing but it surely isn't from eating healthy. Somedays I live on gummi bears and coffee. Other days a multi vitamin and a coffee. I do eat on the occassion...you know...like supper at mom's. It is just that it is no longer my favorite companion. Food like much else has lost its appeal. Bizarre given our love relationship of the past.
I am trying to get active again. I began riding my horse this past weekend. i must say that 100 pounds lost certainly makes that much easier...the horse commented too. LOL
I am noticing some pretty ugly flab on the arms and inside thighs. YUCK.
I am missing Rob something terrible. It is odd, because even at 360 pounds there was never a night that I went to bed without hearing "goodnite beautiful". Or Grrrrr...hot mamma...LOL
I wish he was here to see my transformation. He'd have a devil of a time catching me...but I am sure I would have let him. LOL
Thank you all for your support these past few months. Good bless you all. I am thankful to have my cyber friends and wish you were all closer.
Tah Tah for now. BON

Bonnie God bless your heart. My prayers go out to you and your family. I commend you for staying strong and being strong for your children. We gotta get you focused on getting that protein back on board. Stay strong in your journey, I am sure your husband wouldn't want it no other way.

Oh Bonnie - I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved. You seem to be doing strong for your kids, but I do agree with Denise that we need to work that protein in - I think Rob would be so proud of all of your progress, and even prouder that you went about it in a healthy way. God bless you, sweetie - we did miss you.

Bonnie, hugs girl. I have been thinking of you and hope that you are healing.

You have been though so much and I understand sweetie. VERY GLAD to see you back here.

You still have all your "tools" girl...Key thing for you now is to get and stay healthy. Very important for you to be eating properly for your health.

You don't need a lecture from me...just wanted to remind you that we are all here for you and want you to be in good health.

I will be in HAT on June 4th for my panni surgery. Should be in the hospital from Monday to Thursday and then flying home on the Friday. Drop by if you like...would love to meet you.

Take Care.......drop me a line if you like.

Bonnie, I have often wondered how you are doing and wished you would come back so we could support you. Stay here with us and get some protein back in. You can't do without food honey. It's the "wrong" way to lose the weight. I'm happy you seem to be dealing with your loss as well as can be expected. It's the good memories that will keep you going. I'm sure he would be so proud of you right now!

Hi Bonnie,

I am fairly new to this forum but I just wanted to let you know that you have my full empathy with your loss. My husband died November 30th and I miss him each and every day. I am still waiting for the "time heals" phase to start. I have decided to go ahead with a gastric bypass and I am presently in the midst of the many tests that have to be done. Please PM me anytime if you would like to talk!

Margaret
