Tell me if I've got this right.

I'll come home from the hospital and I know, walk, sip, rest, repeat - so this means no real sit down meals for a while. I'm on clear liquids for two weeks. This means I can drink any of my liquids at any time for two weeks, right? Protein drink, then an ice pop, sugar free jello, more protein drink etc. over the course of several hours - whatever, whenever, as long as I get in 64 oz of something a day? I mean, it isn't like I can "not drink" during meals, because I drink my meals.
I should just work my butt off getting in those fluids, and not worry about "meals" for a little while. When I move onto purees on day 15, it'll be three runny, soupy meals a day, no liquids an hour before, and hour after, still sipping constantly otherwise.
Do I get it? Have the last 9 months of reading this forum gotten me anywhere??
