Smile Been there!!

Well, I have had 2 c-sections (the 1st was an emergency, the 2nd was scheduled) and I myself am not afraid of needles (obviously w/all these tattoos!!) but I was afraid it was going to hurt like hell, so here's what I did.....meditate. Just put yourself in a beautiful place, think of your kids, whatever makes you the happiest!! The only part you're going to feel anyway is the intial tiny shot they give you to numb the area where they are going to be inserting the epidural. That actually doesn't hurt that badly...just a little pinch! You won't even feel when they put in the actual big-daddy-needle!!

Hope that helped a little!!
