*thinks good thoughts*
Actually it wasn't that bad. It was a bedroomish setting. The thing on my nose tickled me,... that's all.

Sami, I hope all went well for you.
When I had mine I hardly slept at all even with a sleeping pill but at least it was enough that they could tell I had sleep apnea. I needed that diagnosis in order to be approved by my insurance for WLS. I had to go back a second time to sleep with the CPAP. The second time went a whole lot better. I think I wasn't as anxious about it the second time.
Let us know how it went!

I'm glad it went well for you It's pretty cool how they have it set up kinda like a hotel to make ya comfortable.
My sleep apnea was dianosed over a year ago. Getting my BiPAP machine changed my life that first night. I went from only be able to go to work and come home to crash but after that first night I ended up going out shopping 3times in my first week.
It is amazing what real sleep can do for you.
So did they send you home with a Cpap ?

i had mine last Thursday, I am still waiting on the results. I also needed this so my insurance will cover it, so I have my fingers crossed! The nose thing tickled me too and the finger thing that had to stay taped on was hard.

I don't know why this is a requirement, I don't think anyone sleeps too good in it. I agree, the thing in the nose tickles and I rubbed my nose throughout the night. You are hooked up to so many wires that it is such an artificial enviroment.
