Ok so I went to the meeting at the hospitol last night and found out that medicare is not covering it right now at that hospitol. I am quite sad. I'm still going to send the forms in anyway because I might make the cut off date. Cause this something new so don't know if that includes me yet.

Also I was a little freaked out with the idea of me having this surgery.

I heard medicare is changing how they cover WLS now, something on the line that only certain hospitals with certain creditianals and such.

By all means send in those forms ASAP, maybe you will make the date. If not maybe it will get you on a waiting list.

I agree, send those forms in ASAP. Stay on track of everything that is going on with your insurance and paperwork. Don't give up so easy. What is it about surgery that is freaking you out? Don't be afraid to ask question and get clarity to what your not sure about.
