Default New members feel welcome.....

I felt welcome when I firsted join and someone actually posted an answer to my questions, that was great. New members just look around and you can tell that the people here really do care. I log on everyday just to get support of whatever it is that is bothering my that day.

Thanks! We try to be as helpful as possible. I feel part of a larger family. I come here daily for doses of inspiration and to reminiscence. Reviewing the newbie posts also posts things into perspective at times. They are reminders of where I was and makes me grateful that I survived those crazy initial stages. No matte how good or bad, it shall pass. Each day brings new opportunities and moments of enlightenment.

I think we are also a family, and family loves and supports one another through the good, the bad, and the ugly...

I have been on message board groups before, and this is the best bunch of folks I've ever met. There are the occasional flare ups here, but this is an awesome group of people. I'm so glad you felt welcomed, as I did when I joined. It's been almost a year since I came here and the things I've learned and gained are priceless. Furthermore, I pass a lot of the info on to a few real life wls buddies who just aren't into the internet. They actually thank me for being part of this group and bringing the wisdom and experiences to them.

I found this board by accident a few weeks ago while continuing my research into WLS. I have to say that I have felt nothing but welcome and everyone has been so sweet to answer my questions. I had no idea when I joined that this had originally been started for the patients of Dr C. *oops* but even after knowing that I will continue to post and read because the wealth of information I have learned here has been amazing and I can see that there are a great bunch of people here.

Default I agree...

I saw the flare-up on the latest blogging...and have to say I was rather shocked. I have felt nothing but kindness and support here-- even though I'm a midwest kid! Each time I'm about to take another step in the process, I get to see other people's HONEST reactions/emotions to what they went through! It's been so wonderful being here-- thanks
