Default my challange after weight loss

I wanted to thank all the people so far that have donated to a great cause and supported me in my weight loss goals and this challange after i have lost all my weight and reached my goal . thank you very much

a lot of people asked for more information about the walk challenge i am going on in October. here is the site for the fund raising (if you want to) and then the letter i sent to all of my friends. I was at 115 lbs lost last week and have been walking up a storm this week and figure i will be somewhere close or over 120 lost when i weigh in tomorrow morning, wish me luck.

Dear Friends

This year, I'll be participating in a very special event called the Breast Cancer 3-Day.

Since my surgery and weight loss journey I have been looking for a challenge to show myself that the whole weight-loss adventure was a success. While I have already lost about 115 lbs(to date), as the walk gets closer, I will loss more and by the date of the walk, I should be at my (or the docs) goal of 200 for the doc or my personal goal of 186. I am asking for the chance for you to help me with my money raising goals because all off you have supported me with letters email and smiles throughout the past months and would like everyone to know I have arrived at my destination in more than one way. If you can not donate, I understand and will ask for support in prayers or if your near by on the last day, for you to show up at the ending site(last year it was Tampa Stadium) and cheer all of the walkers on when they finish. I do have a time frame set to finish my fund raising by the end of August so there is plenty of time to help.
I'll walk 60 miles over the course of three days with thousands of other women and men. The net proceeds will support breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment through the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund.

I've agreed to raise at least $2,200 in donations. I've set my personal goal at $4,400. So I need your help. Would you please consider making a donation of $50? Please take a look at the enclosed donation form and designate the amount that's right for you. Please keep in mind how far I'm walking -- and how hard I'll have to train.

According to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, approximately 200,000 American women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year, and nearly 40,000 will die from the disease. That's why I'm walking so far. To do something bold about breast cancer. I hope that you'll share this incredible adventure with me -- by supporting me in my fundraising efforts.

Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Sincerely,
CJ (Skinny) Skinner

Default thank you

I just reached 10% on my goal for the cancer walk. I want to thank the folks in here that have donated and also the ones that intend to. It makes my heart happy to get support in here from you folks. It is a way for me to do give back to the comunity and if there is anything i can do please ask. i am still at 105 lbs lost. i can walk longer and jump higher(lol). I guess i am building muscles in my legs and not loosing actual weight but my waist is still getting smaller so i am happy. thanks for the support.
