Thumbs up Answered Pray

I've had a couple of people check with me to see how it all worked out with the insurance and I felt I ought to post it for all to know that God still works miracles.

The afternoon before my scheduled surgery, the doctor's office called and said they were going ahead as planned. They had received, in the nick of time, verbal affirmation that I was still eligible for coverage and should have never been taken off my husband's policy. What normally takes several weeks to work out...you know how the red tape is with such things...was taken care of in a matter of hours.

I had my surgery as scheduled on Feb. 9 and it went like the text book according to my doctor. I've had no vomiting and no pain...just a little tenderness. I must thank all of you for your prayers as I contribute all the good to God's answers on my behalf.

I've lost 23 pounds so far and I'm even heading back to work Monday for just a few hours at a time. I could have stayed off till Mar. 13 but I'm getting bored and I'm ready to get things back to normal.

So, for all of you who are still waiting and/or struggling with insurance issues....hang in there. Say your prayers, and I'll pray for you too, and just watch what God can do.

God's blessings on all of you,
Jan

Jan -

I am so, so happy for you. What a blessing to know that your surgery went without a hitch...ain't God grand!!! I have been praying for you both if you had the surgery and if it hadn't been God's will at this time, but I guess we both know now that it was. How awesome!!!

Today has been a God-Thing! You're ending has truly made today a day I thank God for. I'm in Okla. visiting with my 90-year old grandmother and we have had an AWESOME day. I went to Lifeway Christian Book stores and found a truly God-inspired worker and we both felt like we had made life-long friends, after just a meeting! Your miracle(s) have just made today wonderful.

I am so glad that everything worked out so well for you. Your -24 is terrific! Can you believe that is gone FOREVER? God is so good. I pray that everything continues to go well for you. Take it easy going back to work, but I know how you feel...I'll end up doing the same thing! My surgery is scheduled for March 20th.

Praise God for all his blessings in your life Jan!

In Him,
Cindy

Jan:
You are a perfect example of why we can't let a "no" get us down - you just have to fight sometimes to get what you want. I was wondering how you were doing the other day - I'm so glad that everything went well for you and that you are at last a "Loser"!
