Default Question

Hello again.....I am curious at the end of different posts I see weights. I think the first number is your starting weights....but how do you come up with the other two weights? Does the Dr give it too you or do you make up your own?

thanks
Tonya

The 1st weight is our weight when we start, the 2nd weight is our weight at current date and the last weight is our goal weight that we want to be at.

Glad to help good luck

Tonya,

The other Tonya hit the nail on the head for you. The doctor does give you a goal weight that they have for you. For me, it is unrealistic so I made up my own. I divided my weight in half from the starting point of 274 which came out to 137. That puts me in the "normal" category and also is about 10 lbs from where they think I should be.

Good luck to you..

Default My numbers are a little weird...

... but then, so am I (or at least try to be!)

280 . . . 248. . ./248/145

First = where I was when recommended to get the surgery by my doctor last March; I was about the same when I had my initial consult.
Second = where I am now (I was a good boy last summer).
Third = my post-op weight. Well, I'm still a pre-op until Monday 9/27.
Fourth = my goal weight. I'm skeptical about that one! !
