I shouldn't be posting for my daughter but....Jennifer goes in this Monday and we are hoping for no more cancellations. As before, we are proud of her decision and she can't wait to be a LOSER! Keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks.

Jim - thanks for updating us on Jennfier's rescheduled surgery. I'm pleased for you both that it didn't take long - must have been really upsetting to have the rug pulled out from under you so suddenly. I can hardly imagine it!

Jennifer is preceding me by exactly one week, so I'll be rooting for her to have a great procedure and a fantastic new life afterwards. Tell her to be nice to the staff so they're in a good mood when my turn comes the week after!

I am so glad that Jennifer didn't have to wait that long for the reschedule. Monday is just around the corner. My thoughts and prayers will be with her and she will have plenty of angels looking over her.

I had surgery this last Monday and everything went very well. It is scary but the staff is great especially ICU nurses Stephanie and Sandy. Insist upon the special bariatric beds and gowns. They will be tremendous help once your daughter gets up on the regular floor. If you are your daughter's buddy, be persistent with your daughter's requests...mine was for a fan in my room both in ICU and on the regular floor. Everyone is well prepared to help your daughter through the surgery.

It's all good.........

Thank you everyone for your concern over Jen. She came out from her Lap with some pain but is weathering it well. I'm so proud of her. Thanks for those who will visit with her, hopefully she will be feeling better by then. I will be going Tues after work and when she comes home (Wed?) she will stay with us for a few days with her 2 children. I'll keep you all posted.
