Hi Rebeca, I am new to this process in may ways myself. My husband and I have both spent hours and hours on research. It helped me feel more prepared for meeting with my doctor. I go to talk to him again this week and see if I can get a referal. I have tried to put as much information together so that he knows I am serious. I saw him 3 months ago about the surgery and he gave me welbutrin for appetite suppression and told me to research it and see him again in a few months. I have done the research and feel that I can talk intelligently about the surgery. I hope it helps me.
This forum and entire site is great for information. Just keeping researching and be prepared. Start logging your weight now incase you have to hae documentation of weight loss or gain recently.
