Default Thanks Everyone!

I really hope it works. I am also doing the gym every day, so heaven help me, something should happen.

This is a really easy system for me. I like the little check off list, the daily diary stuff. You add your own milk, fruit and fresh veggies too, plus I have my own personal book shelf of food choices. I don't feel deprived at all...of course, it has only been 6 hours...but so far so good.

I believe that if I stick with this for the 23 pounds, which I hope I can do before March, then if I can just keep it off....

Yes, if you gain back any part of your 10%, my doctor cancells the surgery. He is lucky he is so darn good - why else would we put up with him? Maybe it is the pony tail...

So thanks for your support everyone. I was sure giving the diet industry yet another sale would be unpopular, but you are all more practical than I am. I had a lot of guilt - like I was selling out or something.

Thanks for the support. I'll need it these next few weeks!

Was on NutriSystem for a few months and it worked for me. The weight loss was not permanent, as I started eating again after I went off the program. I think you made a good choice as you are required to get the 10% off before you are considered. I know many women here that are required to loose 30 lbs and they will do just about anything to get there...you made a good choice, so don't feel bad about it. When I was on it, we were allowed to eat a salad with every meal if we wanted to add the the food supplied. Do they still allow this?

Acutally, they have you add milk twice a day, salad at lunch, veggies at dinner and another carb in there somewhere. I'm having trouble eating it all at the right time, but I'll get the hang of it!

Gina.... first you are doing great! Stop being so hard on yourself!! Also... in case of emergency.... Atkins, or The Carbohydrates Addict. I lost around 30 pounds in 12 days, on both. But only... in case of emergency!

I did Nutrisystem back in the early 90's when they stiil had centers to go to. I lost 223 pounds on their food. I got discouraged when I found a weight my body was happy at and they kept riding me to lose another 27 pounds.

That's when they were starting to look at people as dollar bills coming thru the door rather than as people. Now they have no centers and it's all by mail. It was $49 a week then and I think now it's $70 so they have stayed competitive on their prices.

The food is great, and will work, just remember to exercise too.

It will work for you for the short term, but that all you want it for anyways, right? We are here for you,and we love you - please don't ever be afraid to post anything!! We have discussed everything from poop to sex, so I don't think Nutri-System will offend anyone
