Yoly:
MO=Morbid Obesity.

Thanks for all your advise/input. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Really pisses me off - I've been on this road since September. Well, I tell you one thing, they don't want to hear from a pissed off ME!

I have Blue Cross Premium PPO (and it ain't cheap). In looking over my spankin'-new 2006 Medical Plan guide from my company, it clearly states in the exclusions that weight loss will not be covered UNLESS it is surgery to cure MO.

Am I being paranoid for nothing? I know there's a bunch of us out there in process with Blue Cross PPO.

Thanks! I know we have a lot of insurance afficionados on the forum!

My BC/BS changed in January so that you must have the highest level PPO to cover the bypass or IVF. It used to be that all levels did it, you maybe just paid different co-pays or a percentage or something.
