Well , i am on day 2 of my 14 day pre-op liquid diet and am already going nuts. Any suggestions on how to make it through the next 12 days sane?

Oh wow, I only had to do 2 days. I'd say get creative with your liquids. Try various popsicles and anything you like to drink.

Hi Leanne,

I also was on a liquid diet for a very long time. I had to do a 10 day preop liquid diet then 3 weeks of liquids. I know exactly what you are going through. What happen for me is I got sick of the same ole same ole thing. I still can not eat soaps and jello as they were my biggest foods during this time. I know it is hard but believe me you will make it through. Try some FF cool whip with some jello. You just have to try new things and experiment. I did lots of popsicles and also I did alot of crushed or slushie like ice and then would put SF lemonade over it or some juice and it eat with a baby spoon so I felt like I was eating and not just drinking.

I promise....it will get better. I am only in my 3rd week but I sympathize with you!

There's a recipe in the nutrition section on how to make a ghetto icee with SF popsicles. It really does make you feel like you're eating, and almost a little guilty.
