Hi and Thank you
Hi Gang,
This is Kellys (a.k.s. "On my way K") husband. She is literally on her way. She came out of surgery about 6 PM last night and out of recovery by 9 PM. (Just in time for "Lost"). I taped it for her as she was not quite able to "watch TV".
She was able to have the surgery, to include her gallbaldder, all done laposcopically. All went extremly well (3 1/2 hours). Dr. Callery is AWESOME!!! I stopped by the hospital this morning and she is doing fine. She is hurting a lot however. I will stop by after work today with the kids.
Anyway, I will keep this short. I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone here for being so supportive of Kelly. You all helped give her the strength to be able to do this. You folks are the best.
I am new to this forum and have only belonged to one previous forum (The "Friends of Danielle", a group that formed shortly after the abduction and murder of my sons schoolmate Danielle Van Dam). So I know how much it means having someone to talk to about issues not everyone can always relate too.
Well, thanks again for being there for Kelly. The journey is just beggining, but with friends like you, we will make it. Take care all.

It is so incredible to have this type of support from people you have never had the pleasure of meeting in person -- I hope that changes soon.
Must admit I am pretty emotional today (good emotional though). I am the type that cries when I am happy, sad, mad, frustrated, etc. . . . so tears are coming easily.
My whole family is incredibly supportive and I have the most wonderful husband that helps me keep my sense of humor through all of this. (Bridgit, I will pm you with his cell phone number -- thank you so much for caring).
Dr. C said I will be out by Friday, so I will check in with all of you then.
Could not have done it without this forum!!
