Default Jumped through all my hoops.

Just finished my Pshy evaluation with Dr.Bryant.. she is cool.
Finished my Gallbadder ultrasound
Finished all my blood work
Did my preopt exam..
Now it's time to get it all there... Flustrating.
Called my doctor he had not fax the results of anything.
Shit .
I don't like these hoops.. It's like highschool.

I believe we should be able to get all this done with one doctor,
at one meeting. It would save the insurance companies millions.

Red face

Hi Jennifer, you just reminded me of the things I need to get done. I've been slacking a little, weird since I really want this bad. I guess it's cause I don't plan for it until Feb. or March, still a long time (talk about procrastination). I need my psych evaluation and Ekg. That's it!

Jennifer I agree about getting it done all in one shot but where would they make their profit? In time you will be where you need to be to join us on the losing side. Trust me this is nothing you want to rush. In time you will get your re-birthdate. Keep postivie.

Default I hear ya' sister!

Jennifer - It's nice to see that someone who is not a sweet young thing is getting WLS. Many of the people on this forum are alot younger than I am (53 next month). I wonder if there are different concerns post-surgery for us. Has anyone out there in their 50's and 60'2 had anything unusual post-operatively?

I am waiiting for approval myself. It took a while for all the tests, assessments and paperwork to get in. Yesterday I called my insurance co. and they said they had not received the referral request so Dr. C's office said they would send it in again. How frustrating!!!

Waiting....

Default My thought on this

On the idea of having everything done by one Dr, I dont think its for anyones profit but for our well being. Would you really want your surgeon doing your psych eval? I think it also tests our commitment to having the procedure and the lifestyle change we are commiting to. I dunno thats just my thought, if it were any other way, if it was done under one roof that to me seems like a mill and strictly for profit... just my thoughts.

You are almost there and it is worth all of the jumping through hoops. Heck, I had so many set-backs and it took me almost a year to get my date. Good luck, you'll have a date in no time.
