Default Surgery during menstral cycle

OK, I know this is a weird topic, but I should be starting my monthly cycle either today or monday and am scheduled for surgery Monday morning. Does this affect anything and has anybody had to deal with this? Sorry for the weird topic.

It should be no problem.

I told my doc with my surgery last week that my monthly friend was going to happen the day of just like clockwork and he said no problem. I hated it, but the nurses were cool with me and helped me.

Mine was due to start the week of surgery. I talked to the nurse about it and she said it was okay. She said it was even normal for the body to have one anyways even if it wasn't time due to the stress it goes under. I ended up starting the day I was discharged.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I was getting so worried about it and everything else right now from my earache to my cycle and everything else in between. Everyone is telling me to relax, but I keep stressing out. Hopefully when my husband flies in I will be able to relax. I just have to take the "go-Juice" tomorrow and worry if I will be able to pick up my husband. I have to take it at 11:00 A.M. How long do the effects last?

Is it the Go- light stuff...bowel prep? My sister just had to do that and she said she HAD to stay by the toilet.

I was supposed to start my period the day I had surgery on my shoulder, and I just ended up skipping a month. Between the stress mentally and physically, and all the drugs, I think I scared it away!

The go-juice didn't make me stay by the toilet, but I'd been on liquids for 2 days prior to that, so it wasn't too bad for me.
