Default Vitamin Question

Well Hello everyone. I just signed up today. I have my preop appointment on Wednesday where I will get my surgery date. I have completed all the tests and classes and am trying to get the last things taken care of. I have been looking at different vitamins that I need to take and have been hearing different things about each one. My nutritionalist says to take Flinstones, but I am just a little skepticle about a children's vitamin. Which have you all taken or suggest.

Default vitamins

initially you do want to take a childrens vitamin so you can chew it rather than swallow it. after either three or six weeks you will switch over to a regular adult multi vitamin.

I take 2 centrum chewable vitamins, calcium in the form of 3 tums, and one sublingual B-12 every other day. The centrum is orange flavored and doesn't taste that bad, Good Luck!!

Also, you can take vitamins made especially for bariatric patients... www.bariatricadvantage.com. They have chewable multi vitamins that are for adults....

I found chewable adult vitamins at Trader joes and at Albertsons before. I liked the children's stuff because of the shapes and pretty colors

Just be sure the chewable you're taking has enough B1 in it -- has to be at least 1.5 according to Dr. Callery to avoid vitamin deficiencies.

I'm already taking Flintstone's vitamins, but like you I am unsure about the others...
it's iron, calcium, and B-12, right?
