Un@#$%^&* real!!!!!! I finally got a date!!!!
Yes ladies and gents, I have finally recieved the call from Leslie just over an hour ago, I am slotted for next Tuesday the 17th, and let me tell you,, I honestly felt that it was never going to happen after the insurance change, but here I go. I am scared sh*tless! time to get into the frame of mind. I have been waiting to say this,,, I'm on my way to loserville,,, so who are my pod mates?? anyway I'm stoked!

OMG Congrats on your date!!! You must be absolutely on cloud nine!! That is so great that it got approved and will be done with before the insurance change. What a blessing!!!

actually christina, my insurance changed july 1 from aetna to kaiser, and kaiser reviewed my case and approved it through dr. callery.. wow im just so nervous

You've been on my mind so much lately, wondering how things were going for you since the insurance change! I'm SO jazzed for you that it's all coming about and you're just around the corner from the "other side" 
It'll be here before you know it, and it's true what we all say.... "Hang on tight, you're in for the ride of your life"! But, my Lord, what a ride it is!!!!!

Daisymom and Lynne!!
Girls, I'm so thrilled for you both! It's really exciting to see everyone getting close to that day, and remembering just 4 weeks ago today how great I felt when I woke up from surgery and they said I was doing fine, then off they rolled me to the ICU. I would never have believed that I'd just had surgery, I felt fantastic, and you will too!!
Sure, there are days since then that I wouldn't have given you two cents for any of it, but, those days pass and with all the wonderful support that this group gives you, you'll get through the ones that aren't as good as the others! 
Good luck to both of you, I send my prayers and good thoughts your way for a safe and speedy, uneventful recovery!!!

I'm happy to hear that Kaiser is approving this surgery for you. I hear that it's very hard to get them to approve it. So, good luck to you. I hope everything goes EXCELLENT!
