Talking Well some good some bad

Hello there everyone. I dodnt get on here as much as i used to but should now that i am back to work and not getting sick everyday. had my first followup with the surgeon and he said icould go to solid food as long as i chewed a long time. Well I had to go back to the nutritionist and the surgeons. The nutritionist said i was put on solid food way to soon so i am back on liquids and pureed till wnd of the month. I still lost weight during the two weeks I was getting sick everyday but had to miss work for another two weeks. I am fine now, back to work and the best part. I am at a weight i havnt been at for over 10 years. actually getting tears in my ears as i write this. I am below 300 lbs. i have lost over 72 lbs and and feeling wonderfull. I have lost my sleep apnia(speeling dont count). I can now sleep 6-7 hours and get up feeling great and dont need a nap in the afternoon. I have gone from a 54 waist to a 48 waist. my BMI went from 50 to 42, all of this has happened since august 9th. the surgery and hospital stay were terrible but I am thanking the lord i decided to do this and he is standing right beside me through this whole procedure. Also all the folks in here are wonderfull to bounce things off on. Well thats about it except to say. after the surgery do exactlly what the surgeon says and it will be fine. Yeah i had a set back but it didnt stop my forward progress. till later. your shrinking friend cj

Hi,
Congratulations! You're doing great. Not just in the weight loss, but you're hanging in through out all the ups and downs. I just got off my CPap machine this week. I appreciated having it when I needed it, but it sure feels nice to sleep without it!

Default Wow!

What progress! You must be so proud and feeling great. I can't wait to get off my CPAP. That might involve getting rid of these monster tonsils for me though. Keep on keeping on.

Hey CJ! I've missed you! So glad you are doing so well! Congrats on your loss! Things get better once you are back to work and life returns to "normal". I sleep so good now! It's amazing! 5 hours and I'm good. Sleep apnea is the worst. Keep in touch a little more often!
