Thanks for the nice words neighbor! The WLS will be done in La Jolla. Dr W does not work out of Alvarado anymore.

Well one week before the WLS and the OMG i am happy has turned into OMG i am scared! Its 4 am and I can't sleep. I am worried that something might go wrong. I am also worried about being thin. I don't know what that is like and I am sure it sounds so stupid but is just the way I feel right now.

It is normal to be nervous! I'm pretty sure you'll like being thin. It makes life a lot easier! I'm not even at goal yet but I feel 100% better with all this weight gone. It is kind of weird somedays. Sometimes I look in the mirror and don't recognize myself-hard to explain! The weirdest part is someone will say, "you weigh less than me." and I look at them and can't believe I'm that size. I hold up my clothes and they look so small (size 12 pants, medium shirts). I keep thinking that won't fit me but it does! Congratulations on your date! I'm sure you'll do just great. It's a big lifestyle change but you can do it!

I am sure it will all be great. I know I am just being silly. I want to fast forward and see the outcome. I am worried about complications after WLS as I am sure all of you were. I have heard great stories and really bad ones. Thats a little scary but it is worth it I know. Once you get a date it seems so much more real.

Oh sweety, congratulations! You will do absolutely wonderful and I am possitive you will love being thin. Having the ability to move like never before, to be comfortable in your clothes and in your body.......they are all possitve outcomes form this surgery. I can't wait to be where you are
