All my stuff is done and in dictation yesterday. How long before approval? Dr. C's office said they were real busy, it would take 3 to 4 weeks. Also how soon did anyone go on vacation after WLS? My boss is taking me on a cruise Dec 3 I really want to go but also want WLS. Guess I can't have my cake and eating too Ha Ha!

Hey rilee's! I went to dictation on Aug. 26th, was done and sent to Insurance on Sep.2 and approved for surgery on Sep. 8th.
Im with Dr. Pott's. I called Insurance and was told of the approval by phone on the 9th. Dr. wont schedule surgery till they recieve the approval letter, maybe Mon or Tues.
Maybe you will be able to eat your cake!
