Default Has Anybody Ever Had Gbs While Having An Iud?

hi everyone,
if there is anyone (female) who can tell me if they had this surgery while having an IUD please let me know... I am freaking out because just found out that the IUD releases hormones that can cause blood clots.

Thank you

They quit using the Dalcon Shield but there are two others on the market. Paraguard (no hormones) and Mariena ( hormones)

Always ask the doc but I don't see how or why it would cause a problem. I had one for four years until my hysterectomy. I really think it was the best choice for me. No side effects what so ever and I never knew it was there.
