Call or not to call ... - ThinnerTimes

Ok guys, my doctor's office called yesterday to tell me all my test results came in and that they faxed them to Dr. C. so do I call the office to make sure they've got them or if they're waiting on something? I've logged in to check patient status but it's blank. I'd hate to be just sittin' here when in fact I need to poke someone in the bum to do something but I don't want to be a pain the butt either.

I have the patience of a two year old! Give 'em a call and see whats up. Otherwise you'll just drive yourself nuts! I'm sure they are use to calls from concerned patients and won't think your a pain!

I made it a point all along the way to call and verify that each thing got there. I did not want to assume anything.

It took FOREVER for Dr. C office to post anything about my stuff, if i were you i would call and be a pain in the @$$

It took 5 and a half weeks for the dictation to be done onb my chart. Dr C. said in the support group meeting that it only took a week. So don't get shocked to much if it takes FOREVER. The old people tell me that it use to take MONTHS for dictation so i guess i could look on the bright side.

Woo hoo - I have status notes! They've got all my stuff but the Echo report and psych eval.

Oh sure - they cash that $50 check to type up my referral letter but do they send it out nooooooo. Oh - I'll be calling PsyCare right now!!

Gee - guess what - called PsyCare - my letter was never done! They're gonna do it now and fax it over. Yup - ya gotta call!
