does anyone know if straight med -i -cal is accepted here pacific bariatric wont do surfery with only straight med -i- cal if not accepted here then where can i go

this issue has come up before and dr. callery's office does not take med i cal either.

I heard the same thing about Pomerado Hospital not accepting medical patients. Years ago, I was on medi-cal due to my ex-husband not paying me child support and it was really rough to get approval for a lot of procedures.
Check with medical and see if they can guide you. Good luck.

If you can switch to a Medi-cal HMO, like Community Health Group, Dr. Callery will take that. If not the only place that I know that takes straight Medi-cal is Dr. Orloff at UCSD. You can contact Christina Ambriz at 619/543-2897.

I would contact your case worker first and see if you can switch to Community Health Group. You will be in great hands with Dr. C or Dr. Potts.
