Default Another newbee needing advice
Hello all -- I'm not sure if I'm even doing this forum thing correctly, so I ask your forgiveness ahead of time. I have been reading the forum the past few weeks afraid to engage. Now I just can't hold back.

I am in the very early stages of exploring wls. I have received approval from my primary doctor and now he is submitting a referral to Dr. Callery. I have the full support of my wonderful husband and family - now I just need to get through the process. I have Healthnet Insurance and I would like to know if anyone else experienced difficulty in getting approval. Also, how long of a process can I expect. Ideally I would like to have the surgery before the end of the year -- am I being realistic?
