I was placed on iron tablets some months ago as I have anemia. They have not made me feel sick or anything like that - but as expected, dark and gloomy looking if you know what I mean. lol Anyway, there has been a great improvement which makes me ready for surgery.

Does anyone ever use Liquid Chlorophyll? It's a wonderful natural iron that is gentle on the system. We often as our Mama's to take it if the are anemic or if they have hemorrhaged.

And it doesn't constipate you!

The type of iron that is the most absorbable plus the easiest on your digestive system is Carbonyl iron and Ferrous Fumerate. I use the Carbonyl iron made by Sundown. I haven't had any problems with dark stools or digestive problems.

The most common iron is the ferrous sulfate but you will find that is also the one that causes the most problems when you take it.
