Well, I was all ready , mentally and physically and low and behold they rescheduled my surgery until next Wed. I was so bummed last night. The doc is sick and his first opening was next Wed. The funny this is is that I thought when this whole process started that you just watch my doc will probably get sick. I though oh that won't happen. I guess I need to think positive thoughts. Oh well, one more week of protein shakes.

Oh dear! I can totally feel your disappointment with the delay, but then to have to extend your liquid diet another week too! That's painful! Bless your heart.

Hi there, my surgery was postponed but for totally different reasons. I'd been waiting, waiting and waiting for my surgery date till finally I got one. Basically, I was getting over a cold, I was admitted, got as far as my hospital bed, they heard wheezing on my chest; then they checked my meds. I had still been taking a blood thinning drug, so on that basis my surgery was postponed. So I had to pack up and go home. So here I am still waiting for another date.

Good luck though on your surgery.
