I checked the Patient Log-In and my status now says that they submitted my file to the insurance company for approval!!!!!!!!! I hope I hear back soon!

Just wondering what type of insurance you have... I am pre op and trying to see how fast my own would approve or dis-approve once I am through my 6 months of nutrition classes.

I have Health Net with Sharp Rees-Stealey as the medical group. I was in dictation for one week and was just sent to insurance today.

Yay Hollie! Prayers for a speedy approval.
Isn't this process just the most bizarre thing you've ever been through? It so strange. Like when I asked the appt. scheduler at my PCPs office back at the start of this to call me if there was a cancelation so I could get in quicker, she said "why? Are you losing your insurance or something?"
People were always calling to postpone, not move up.
We are all clammering to have major surgery.
Wow, it must be a rewarding feild of medicine to be able to give people a new life.
Sorry for rambling, it just really struck me how awesome the changes in our lives will be.
