Default goal weight

did/does anyone else feel like they can't even imagine being at their goal weight? i have lots of mini goals that i want to reach, but i have my final goal set for the EXACT weight that it would take for me to be a normal BMI, and i just can't imagine being that weight.

i mean, i weighed 135 in the 5th grade...and i don't remember any weights after that 'til i was 175/80 in high school, then 252 after i had my first daughter. it's hard to imagine getting there, ya know?

...of course, that doesn't mean i'm not gonna try like hell to get there!!! LOL

I think it is really hard to imagine yourself there especailly if you were like me and have not been thin since I was in Elementary School.
Really hard to believe that I am not just big boned and that I might actually fit into something smaller than a size 12.

Good luck to you. I am just starting out but looking forward to getting healthy.

I was shopping the other day (got too "skinny" for my size 18 jeans!), and held up a pair of size 6. That's what I imagine I'll be at my goal weight. They look like a kid size to me!!

Kovy

I can't imagine being at my goal weight either. I have the mini goals too and to imagine myself smaller than my high school weight of 170 is beyond me. Its been 6 weeks since surgery and I still can't believe I am losing like this, I am down 31 lbs from my pre-op weight.

BTW--we were stationed at Ft Sill not too long ago. I left from there in July 2008.

I thought at goal weight I would be a size 4. I haven't reached my goal weight, but I'm already wearing a 4. I could never imagine this size, much less anything smaller!
