I think the liquid diet phase is such a mental game!
Hang in there.
I found it pretty isolating since I could not do my usual socializing which centers around food.
I found that if you constantly put something in our mouth, water, protein drink, broth, jello, decaf tea, it gets easier by the end of the first week. I was 12 days and then two days of clear fluids and the day before my surgery I had to force myself to drink.
After surgery the clear liquids were worse for me cause I was so sick of all the stuff, it felt so boring!
I lived day by day for Skim Milk added day, LOL!

You know, my Dr put me on a 30 carb limit a day diet and 70+ protein a day. They told me that if I get hungry I can eat more protein. I have not been very hungry. I have been craving some sweet foods and have found that a nice cup of flavored tea does good (so far). The problem I am having is that I feel nautious and effin tired! Not all the time, but I would say about 50% of the time.
