Talking Finally Approved!
It's been months since I've logged on here...it was too depressing! All the silliness with my insurance was driving my crazy!
Well, I've finally jumped through all the necessary hoops...and I've been approved by my insurance company for surgery! I was denied at first (for being too healthy), then Dr. Callery did a Peer to Peer with my insurance company and the finally overturned the denial!!! YAHOOOO!
I feel like I'm back in the game finally!!!

I have CCN/PPO which is through FirstHealth Ins. for my company.
It was like pulling teeth. They wanted current (last 6 mos.) medically supervised diet documentation.

A recent 6 month medically supervised diet is the general criteria for most insurances. It can hang you up for months.
