Hiya -- I'd love to get added to this list. I just found out today I was approved for surgery, and they slipped me into a cancellation! So I'm now looking at being a June stapler on the 23rd. Best of luck to everyone on the list!

For me...The surgery was a breeze. and I have every right to shout that out!
I don't know what 1, 2 4, 6 months or even a year will bring but I do know the first major part has gone weel for me.

VERY TRUE...I hope you never experience the complications some have.
I never did...when you get a little further out, things get more difficult...didn't mean to rain on your parade at all...

Default i am home!

had surgery tues and got home last night. So far so good...no complications during surgery or after so far(keeping my fingers crossed)
To be honest the pain isnt anywhere near i thought it would be...for some reason i thought i would be in horrible pain and unable to move, but nope no problem there
I am a litte confused on how much to eat of my jello and so on for lunch so I will email my nutri later
lillylaroo- we had surgery the same day right (6/2?)? How much are you eating if you dont mind me asking? I feel you the surgery was a lot easier than i thought. I guess we will see from here on out!

Smile I am HOME!!!!

Hey everyone! I had my surgery on tues and I came home this afternoon. Mine too went very smoothly. I also did not have as much pain as I thought, UNTIL ..... I came home. Getting up and down is my rough spot, in order to go to the bathroom, I have to get up. Anyone have any suggestions for that. And are you having pain at home too?? I guess that my morphine has officially worn off .
Jenn, I was told that I should just take small bites of what I have, and continue to eat until I am full.
At the hospital I had about 4 tiny bites of jello, and a few sips of whatever else they brought. But be careful. I had soup and mashed potatoes at home for dinner, and something finally tasted good, I almost ate too much. YIKES, I don't want to do that again.
I hope that the other June 2 people are doing fine.
Here's to the rest of our recovery!!!!!
