My referral to Dr.Callery went through. I can call to schedule an appt. tomorrow. I am signed up for the Aug.9th educational seminar. Things are moving along.Yeah!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am so jealous! I am just in the VERY beginning stages of this process... My Dr. appt. isn't until next Monday.

My Primary Care Physician was great. I was seeing him for tension headaches and I told him I wanted wls. He started to kind of put me off by saying we should take care of my headaches first and then.... wls is a long process...
So I said I know it is, I've done a lot of research, thats why I want to get started on it. He said "I guess you've put a lot of thought into this". So he said he'll see me again when I'm skinny!

I pray he is right!

That is so cool! I hope mine goes as easy. I am going in there prepared with lists of why I want the surgery, what diets I have been on, what ailments I believe are caused by my weight, etc. etc. I hope I don't have to fight her or change Dr.'s, but I am having this surgery no matter what I have to do to get it!!!

Congrats on your referral going through!! I am waiting for insurance approval. I have hardly had to wait so far and already I wanna jump out of my skin!

Congrats! I really lucked out my doc had been researching wls for two years for his sister when I asked for a referal and he was more than happy to help. His sister had surgery right after me and is doing really well.
