thanks, Lynda. that's cool-and seeing all together makes me feel part of a family-good at a time when I am feeling a bit wobbly about the whole thing!

You're welcome, sweetie. It IS very frightening, but SO worth it. Use that anxiety and nervous energy to get your house ready for a nice relaxing recuperation. Know that your life is about to change...and you ARE a part of the big ole TT family!

My surgery is scheduled for 4/6, right now everything is a go. Can you add me to the list. And thanks for the great encouraging words you write this is a very stressful process!

CONGRATULATIONS to all APRIL STAPLERS!!!! I wish everyone good luck and my prayers will be with each of you. Make sure before surgery and/or after surgery to come back to this thread and post updates. EVERYONE has to stick together!!!!!!!!

Thank you Lynda so much, It was really nice to see my name on the list, It was a surprise. Now that I can officially say, "my surgery is less than a month" (April 27th) I am getting worried but excited, I am getting all my things ready for post op and especially my grocery list starting with the liquids.

Pre Op tomorrow! And then Surgery next Wednesday....so hard to believe it's here! Approved on March 27th and surgery 13 days later on April 8th! Funny thing is I had my first Dr supervised visit for my 6 month diet on April 8th 2008.

How weird is that?

I haven't even prepared for it since it came so fast. I will have to go this weekend and buy stuff but I don't know what to get for the 1st 2 weeks. I have read so much that it's all jumbled in my poor old brain. I know the first 2 weeks is clear liquids. So help me out here and tell me what I should get. I have read so many posts where people went overboard on protein supplements.
