Default Finally busy waiting

The bariatric center finally got the paperwork from my PCP so they can submit me to insurance! I was waiting to wait......now I'm finally waiting. I didn't even ask how long to prepare my file and how long for an answer.....I was just so happy that it's moving to the next phase. I guess I'll wait a week or two and start calling. It's such a fine line between "being on top of things" and driving them insane! Has anyone on the board went to Cleveland Bariatric Center here in Ohio? It seems that most of the posters are from CA. Maybe more of us need to get the word out about this message board. It has helped me so much.

Marty congrats on your progress. It is a wonderful feeling once you get pass certain hurdles. Marty the reason why you see a lot of post from people here in Cali is because this site belongs to Dr. Callery whom is an Bariatric Surgeon that is based in California. But everyone is Welcome here. That is why I love it so much.

Tell Dr. Callery that someone from Ohio thanks him. This board is an amazing thing. I'm going to make sure all the Ohio folks I come in contact with find it. I feel so much more prepared because of it. You have some wonderful people there in CA.

Amber,

You are a neighbor to me. Congrats on your weight loss. I'm glad you wandered around and found the board too. The only down side is we have a harder time meeting everyone face to face......I might be a little jealous.

Thanks, but we think we have some wonderful people from all over. Unfortunately most people are too quick to judge us by our size!
THEY ARE WRONG!
