Hi group, my name is Tamara and I am 25. I just started the process and I am both excited and scared. I have been greatly motivated by the post on this forum, it helps alot. I was wandering is there any one here in the Northern California area? I would like to know some average wait times. Currently I have to wait 1yr unless I change my insurance and go some where else. Now that I have all this information and have decided to go through with it I want to get it done a lot sooner than a year

Welcome to the forum. Our stats are pretty close. To date I have lost 158 lbs and am almost a year out. I know that once I made the decision I wanted it done NOW too. The wait made it all the more sweeter. I wish you much luck as you begin this incredible journey.
