Red face Waiting for Insurance now

Oh man, I am so excited! They've submitted my request to the insurance. Can you hear me screaming inside? I'm scared, excited, thrilled and everything else.

I'm calling my insurance now. I hate those stupid computer systems on their phones. Finally got a live person. SRS is the one that says yes or no.

Now I'm waiting to find out from them if they got the referral yet. Ah sheesh, I changed PCP's yesterday so my new dr. has no idea who I am.

I have SRS also. I was denied twice just for the consult for Dr. C, but I fought it. Once Dr. C's office put in the refferal for surgery I had an answer in 2 weeks. They were pretty quick the second time around.
I hope that you get an answer soon. Good luck, and keep us posted.

Thanks Jeanie. I'm so impatient, I want to call and bug them to say yes already.

I'm thinking about you Nancy, got all my fingers and toes crossed for you. I'm sure things will happen soon enough for you, but I totally understand the impatience, lol. Good luck.

Nancy I hope all goes well. Same as Jeanie I got denied twice by SRS. I had to take mines all the way to IMR to get the decision overturned. I am glad I did though because not only did I get approved for a consult but for surgery as well. It was hell in its self but God work it all out in the end. Nancy Dr. C office is taking care of your insurance you are in good hands. I know this is the most stressful portion of the process. My prayers are with you.

I'm just hoping I didn't mess up by changing PCPs yesterday.

You already have everything documented with your old doctor so it shouldn't be a problem. Plus if you went from one SRS doc to another the new one has the access to your files right away, because they are all in the same group. You should be fine.
Let us know what they say!
