me i had my 1st surgical consult today and they will submit to insurance tommorow. and within the next 2 weeks we will be cookin with gas woo hooo

I wrote in Personal Stories area but thought I would share my not-so-good news here too. The case manager at SRS called Dr. Callery's office to check on my referral -- my chart is in the pile TO BE DICTATED.

Rose couldn't explain how I could have gotten such wrong info.

I am so mad, I feel like steam should be shooting out of my ears. Ok, I guess it's my turn to see what it feels like to hear, "It'll happen, don't worry." But darn it I am really furious right now, so I'll just simmer over in my corner for a while and come back out when I can play nice.

I'm sorry to hear about that Nancy, that really stinks. I'm sure now that they know they messed up they will try to push it through dictation as fast as possible. I know you don't want to hear this right now, but everything happens for a reason, even if we don't like the reason or don't know what the reason is, it's there. Keep your head up.

I'm in a better mood today, and realize I do just have to be patient, because I have no control over the situation right now. Before, I was the one scurrying around getting tests done and getting copies of the results. Now I just have to sit and wait. Not one of my skills to put it mildly.
