I called my physicians group everyday. If you are nice and understanding they don't seem to mind. In fact, I know all the girls names who answer the phone there. I even called to tell them that everything was approved and I was having the surgery!! They asked for me to call after then surgery and tell them how it went. It was pretty amazing because I thought that insurance companies only hired nasty people. Don't give up hope.
