Default Finally lost! Wow!

I've been keeping track of my weight with a digital scale and finally have obtained a significant loss. !!!!!16lbs.!!!!!!

The one thing that seems to be working for me is the process of weening myself off of meats and on to a more vegitarian diet. After all I don't have issues with my veggies. I guess it takes about a month or two for your tastes to change, and I have already noticed the changes in myself.

Congratulations on the weight loss Hope.

I haven't been able to eat much in the way of meat since surgery - it just doesn't sit well. I do eat fish though

Meat is a rich source of protein so you need to keep an eye on your protein intake.

I eat a lot of beans, lentils, wholegrains etc., but even at a year out, I still have to supplement with protein shakes (made with ff milk) so that I get what I need.
