Changed insurance coverage - plan changes 1-1-09 - surgeon to submit auth request then, for surgery date in Jan '09!

awww man .... sorry girl.. my surgeon had approval for both ... so if he couldnt do one he could do the other without me haveing to be put under twice.. I had to sign consenting if he couldnt do RNY he would do the band... it will happen girl...

I just don't know what to say. I'm saddened to hear about those that go this far and then wake up to find they weren't able to get the surgery after all.

I was simply not ever prepared (mentally) for that to happen at all.

I consider myself very lucky that my doctor was not only able to do the surgery but still do it lap, even given the considerable scar tissue, adhesions and whatnot..

Nannag, I'm so sorry you've gone through this.. I am sure you'll do well with the band. <hugs>
