and txchick the first place i called was nuweigh, but their surgeon that does revisions no longer takes my insurance. my current surgeon was actually recommend by them.
Well that's great! But I'm confused, you already have RNY?

no baby nicole i have the lap band. i have had some problems with it. the first year it was fine but then i started having problems and was told that they couldn't fill me anymore and basically that was it. so i gained back almost all of the weight i had lost. so now i am trying to get the revision to rny.

AHA! Now I get it! All these band stories make me more thankful each day that I started with the RNY. I was originally "set" on the band!

well i wanted the rny from the beginning but was talked into the band. i am really hoping that i do as well if not better with the rny. i really don't want to go through another surgery and a bigger surgery to end up failing again.

I hear ya! Actually, I went in thinking "band" and my surgeon mentioned RNY. I didn't think I was heavy enough for that. After speaking with him about how RNY has better results, much researching and going back and forth. I finally made a decision. I sure am happy with it! I hope everything works out for you!
