Default I need vitamins pronto!

I went to GNC today and a few other drug stores to find vitamins. I am still missing a chewable iron, so I ordered the one from Building Blocks, and now I still need a Vitamin B-complex including 50mg thiamin chewable. Does anybody know where to find that one? I even talked with a pharmicist, and he had no idea. I need it by Tuesday or I fear surgery will be rescheduled.

Laura,
Call your doctor/nutritionist office in the morning and see what they recommend. I take a separate B1 and sublingual B12.

They recommend the Nature Made Vitamin B-complex 50 but I can't find it anywhere. I can't even find it on the nature made website. I found it in a capsule, but not in a chewable. I have to have chewable utnil 6 months post-op. I am calling tomorrow to check on insurance because if we haven't heard from insurance by tomorrow then my surgery is post-poned. I will ask while I am at it.

Capsules work! - pull them apart. I did that - dumped the contents into about 1 tablespoon of water/milk etc and washed it down with a few sips of liquid. When I went onto yogurt etc., I mixed it with a spoon of that.

GNC have a B-Complex 50 that has 50mg of thiamin GNC - GNC Vitamin B-Complex 50

Vitacost.com has several liquids although nothing is going to get to you by Tuesday.

I just came here to tell you exactly what Corrine did. Take the capsules apart and dump them in a protein shake. I used to do that with multi's that I had in capsules, and was just thinking about that today...I think I'm going to start doing that again...

Vitacost has a couple of fast shipping options:

Quote:
2nd Day Air

2 business days
Example: If order is placed on Monday before 2 PM (EST), delivery would be on Wednesday

Monday - Friday delivery

Next Day

1 business day
Example: If order is placed on Monday before 2 PM (EST), delivery would be on Tuesday before 3 PM in major metropolitan areas

Monday - Friday delivery
Customer Care Center - Vitacost

I don't know why you need them for the day of your surgery but if you ordered now, they'd be delivered Tuesday if you went for the "next day" option.

Because my last pre-op appt is the day before surgery, and I have to have all my vitamins for everyone to look at to make sure they are exactly what I am suppose to have. We leave Wednesday. I will go ahead and get the pills and break them. Thanks everyone.
