Talking Laura's Surgery Countdown!
10 days

Today I was told that my papers are off to insurance, and all I need now is a new EKG and Echo because mine were done in June of last year so they're too old...does that tell you how long I've been waiting? I get that done this week sometime.

I go for my first pre-op class July 2nd, day after tomorrow, and then my second pre-op the following Wednesday, and then surgery Thursday July 10th.

I just got back from canceling my next month's worth of guitar lessons so that will give me three weeks post-op to heal up before rocking again.

I am so excited!

Let the countdown begin!

I read your post and it made my belly do a flip flop thing.

So if it's ten days for you that means it's nine days for me... and it still doesn't feel quite 'real'.
